Avebury is one of Europe's largest prehistoric stone circles. A cold snap in the weather had caused a hard frost at daybreak. Before the sun even broke the horizon it's rays created a pink glow reflected from the cloud above onto the landscape below. The ethereal lighting provided a suitably spiritual atmosphere to the scene.
